Vanessa Arthur is a contemporary jeweller and object-maker based in Te Matau-a-Māui, Hawke’s Bay, Aotearoa. Arthur completed a Bachelor of Applied Arts at Whitireia New Zealand 2011. 

Applying jewellery making techniques Arthur’s work embraces low-fi industrial paint jobs, hurriedly scrawled mark making, interchangeable landscapes, kitsch cosmic aesthetics and beyond. She constructs forms using industry off-cuts, precious metals, stones and paint
